                       The Beavers are two extant species such as the North American beaver and the Eurasian beaver. The Beaver scientific name is Castor. The Beaver higher classification is Beavers. The Beaver family is Castoridae. The mass of Eurasian beaver is 11 – 30 kg and American beaver is 11 – 32 kg. The length of Eurasian beaver is 80 – 100 cm and American beaver is 74 – 90 cm. The gestation period of Eurasian beaver is 107 days and American beaver is 128 days. The second largest living rodent is beaver in after the capybaras. The Beaver is head to body length of 80–120 cm.  The beaver have a 25–50 cm tail. The beaver have shoulder height of 30–60 cm and a weight of 11–30 kg. The Beaver live in marshes, streams, ponds, lakes, rivers and adjacent wetland areas. The Beavers are suborder live in North America and Europe. The Beavers have large teeth. The beaver upper incisors are from 20 to 25 mm long.
