The Bed bugs are insects. The Bed Bug genus is Cimex. The Bed Bug bites can skin rashes, psychological effects and allergic symptoms. The Bed Bug other names is Cimicosis. The Bed Bug treatment is Symptomatic. The Bed Bug are size between 1 – 7 mm. Bed bug are primarily two species of genus Cimex such as Cimex lectularius (the common bed bug) and Cimex hemipterus (the tropical bed bug). The bed bugs feed exclusively on blood and survive up to 70 days without feeding. The Bed Bug are look as light brown to reddish brown, flat, oval, and no hind wings. The Bed Bug are 4–5 mm long and 1.5–3 mm width. The Female common bed bug can lay 1 – 10 eggs per day and 200 – 500 eggs in their lifetime. The female tropical bed bugs can lay 50 eggs in lifetime. The Bed Bug eggs die at 122°F and the high temperature of steam 212°F immediately kills bed bugs. The Bed Bug females lay white oval eggs 1/16" long. The bed bugs are eggs hatch in 6 to 10 days. The Bedbugs are not fly. The Bed Bug can move quickly over floors, walls, and ceilings. The Bed Bug are about 90 different species but only three are known as humans such as C. lectularius, C. hemipterus and L. boueti.
